It is with great sadness that the Goodwill Fire Company announces the passing of Past Chief and Active Life Member Gerald Philip Walls, known to most of us as Mr. Jerry. Mr. Jerry spent the last 65 years dedicating his life to the Company. He held every officer rank, including Fire Chief of the department twice, as well as President, Vice President, and Board of Director along with many committee chair head positions. He was also the mastermind behind the cooking of our chicken for the chicken BBQs and has been cooking breakfast in the kitchen for our monthly breakfasts for many years. Fortunately, he passed down his knowledge to the next generations so we can carry on his duties and continue helping the citizens of Centreville and the surrounding area, as he would want us to do. RIP Mr. Jerry. We will take it from here.
